If you then want Rankin Lawyers to represent you, we can discuss what option best suits your needs - you can engage us on an hourly basis, or we can negotiate a fixed lump sum fee. We will then ask you to sign a client agreement. Costs involved in cases will vary depending on the type of legal matter, and degree of complexity. 
In certain areas of practice, such as criminal law, if you cannot afford to fund your case, you may be entitled to have your case partially or fully paid for by Victoria Legal Aid. We can advise you how to go about making an application for legal aid assistance, and lodge the application for you. If your application is successful, Rankin Lawyers can then act on your behalf. |
